To answer your first question, yes - basically for any system that you can emulate on the Wiz, you can search and obtain ROMs for that system from some of the popular sites.
And I'd say 90% of the time when you download the ROMs they already come in .zip format so it's just a matter of placing the .zip file in the correct folder...

Hey thanks. That really really helped alot. I get the Gp2x Wiz specialized emulators, but I can get any kind of rom thats that emulators console right? And also, when I download them, is making them in the .zip format hard? I had emulators for my pc and it was pretty easy, Im just wondering if getting them on here is more complicated.

Hi Army,
I'll try to explain a few things here. Sorry if I'm posting redundant details, but I'm not sure how well versed you are with emulators and roms.
First, as you may or may not know, you will need to decide on which system(s) you would like to emulate. Then you would download an appropriate emulator for each system. As far as the Wiz is concerned, there are a number of good emulators to play games from numerous systems. You can read more about these on the tutorial page for
GP2X Wiz Emulators. So, to get the emulator working you would download it and then place it in an appropriate folder.
For the specific games (ROMs), like Daniel said, there are a number of good sites out there for obtaining them. You could go the route of using Google to search for a specific rom (such as "Sonic the Hedgehog rom"), or you could go to one of the bigger rom sites such as
doperoms.com,
romnation.net,
rom-world.com, etc. There are many more than these ones. You would then find roms by system name, or just by typing in the name of the game. A lot of the rom sites also provide links to popular emulators which will run on your PC. If you are looking to run emulation on the Wiz, however, you will need to download the special versions as outlined in the tutorial.
Lastly, for actually playing the roms, you would basically drop the rom file (typically in .zip format) into a special "roms" subdirectory within the emulator's folder.
I hope this all makes sense. Please post back if you have any questions about this.
